Mark and LukeOur Heartfelt Condolences

Luke was the first dog bred by Sheppard's Chesapeakes that met my standard of the original Chesapeake Bay Retriever. As the dog incorporated in our company logo, he truly became the Sheppard's Chesapeakes "poster boy", as his owner Mark Adams would say.

Luke was put to rest on May 7, 2006. All of us at Sheppard's Chesapeakes are greatly saddened by his passing, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Mark Adams and his family. This wonderful dog has helped create a friendship that I truly cherish with Mark and his family, and he will be deeply missed.
