Hi
there. I just got your letter in the mail. I was so
excited to hear from you. I think it's wonderful that
you keep checking up on your past litters. We are the
owners of Sienna who was born June, 2000. I have to
know, was that your first litter? I was looking on
your website and saw a picture labeled "first litter" and
had to find out if our Sienna was in that picture.
By the time we got her she was 14 weeks old so we
never got to see Sienna with a "puppy face". What happened
to Hanna, her mother? Do you still have her?
Sienna is
absolutely the best dog we could ask for. We get
compliments on her appearance and her excellent behavior
(even without formal puppy training classes) all
the time. The past 4 years have been so great and
we can't imagine life without her. When she was a
puppy, she had a fear of the car, to the point where
she drooled so much we called her a "rabbied dog" and "Sienna
Claus". People
in other cars would point and laugh at her. 4 1/2
years and 80 lbs later, she will now tolerate the
car, and even seems excited to go places. She has a
wonderful, calm, and tolerant personality. She's
a great dog, and we love her to death.
We are sold on the breed as a whole, and would definately
like another one of your dogs when it comes time
to get another one. Hope you're still breeding then!

| Bob:
I hope all is well. Here are a few photos from Skipjack's hunting season this
year. Let me know if they are too big to open. I see you sold your last litter,
when is the next one? I have a very interested person who wants one male after
seeing Skipjack and his ability to hunt.

Bob,
Skipjack
is doing great, he's leaving to go to Canada for a week
on Nov 1st for diver duck hunting out of the boat. Nov
21st leaving for South Georgia for a week trip of Wood
Duck hunting. I have two other trips with DU officers
in December, one in Maryland and one in New York. This
dog has come along way, complete on hand signals, dog
platform, and upland pheasant hunting. I have worked
everyday with him since I have picked him up from you.
People cannot believe how laid back Skip is towards
other dogs and people. He is a pleasure to work with
and its amazing to see how fast he picks up skills.
This summer Skip and I will be doing some hunt test
to show that the Chesapeake is the ultimate hunting
dog. Best of Wishes.

Bob,
Your
puppy from your dog has been awesome. Skipjack has
recieved up to now 387 ducks/geese this waterfowl
season. He has been to Long Point,
Canada to South Georgia for Woodducks to Maine Eider
Hunt to his favorite Chesapeake Bay diver/puddle duck
hunting. He is year and 9 months old and he has convince
that this is the only hunting dog to own. Next month
we will be getting the eyes checked, and at 2 years
old his hips done.
I
have fortunate to hunt a lot this year and have come
across many Kennel managers and guides who have been
all out impressed with Skipjack's ability, drive,
and personality. I have given your name numerous times
up and down the coast because of their interest of
getting a dog like Skipjack. Just a heads up. Thanks,
will keep you
posted with Skipjack as he travels from duck blind
to duck blind. Also, Rob I am very interested down
the road working with you to get one of Skipjack's
puppies.

| Hey
Bob!
Casey is doing great. We were quite
surprised at how well she was accepted by the other
two. A few squabbles over chewy toys setting up the
chain of command is about it. As puppies go, she is
very mellow compared to the others and just shows your
average chewing of molding and what ever is available.
The three kids are exited also. Casey is a beautiful
pup! Thanks! I'll get some more pictures as they happen!

| Bob,
We wanted to thank you again for everything, she has
made a wonderful addition to our family! As I told you
on the phone, all of the other parents in her Puppy
Obedience / Socialization School tell us that they wish
their puppies acted more like ours.
She is learning very fast and has even started to sleep
through most of the night. Her coat is starting to come
in nicely and everyone who sees her (and thinks they
are approaching a Chocolate) is amazed that the color
and curl of her hair.
Thanks again, I can't tell you how much we love her,
and thanks for checking in or her too, it means a lot.
Thank you!

| Bob,
Here are a few pictures of Reece and Ava Grace. I've
told you that she's my babysitter, and here's proof!
It's funny that Reece is actually a month or so younger
than my daughter! More shots of Reece playing softball
with my older daughter to follow!
It's an awesome dog! We constantly get comments from
people like, "I can't believe how calm she is for
a puppy", and "Where do I get one?" Especially
when we are playing fetch off our pier. We can't keep
her out of the water!
Thanks again for a remarkable dog!
Ron,
Shannon, Alexandra, Ava Grace,
and "Reece" Pierro
